The football season has been alot of fun, Bri gets to go to our next home game! She is so excited to cheer for "Larry" Fitzgerald that is:). She's soo funny when it comes to football! All the other kids have enjoyed going to games last season-and Bri is only free for a little longer haha!
So here is the latest since I have been without a computer for a few months I haven't been able to blog! Bri's Uveitis has been flip flopping from "real bad" and "mild" left to right eyes. Now it is looking as if her right eye is still "mildly" swollen and her left is still bad! So at our next appointment we will go through dialting her left eye and see if this will help! She is still on eye drops in the left eye every 2 hours and the right eye 4 times a day which is great! And her Rheum said to wean her off the Naproxyn by giving only one dose a day instead of two and since that appt she was to stop all together within two weeks...which is now. So as of tomorrow we will stop that and see how she does. She really has no joint swelling at all! But...isn't there always a "BUT" with arthritis...her Rheum asked if she was having any pain while eating. Well she's not incredibly verbal but I would think if chewing hurt she would say so, her appetite is great and I haven't noticed her in pain while eating. So I told him if anything she's eating quite well! But as he looked at her chin he said it looks as if it isn't shifting outward meaning...that her jaw is possibly being effected by arthritis now! Oh geesh, the only spot left in her body w/o arthritis...so he suggested going to a dentist to have him xray and look at her jaw! Whoa...this was just more to take on for me! Poor thing is all I could think as she played in his office and he was saying this! Gosh, Thank you God for her strength and childlike playfulness and that she will understand all this when she gets older! I read a bible verse on another blog tonight "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11! I thought that was perfect for this journey! I am sooo thankful though that she is running and playing like all the other kids at the playground, or in our "moms" group! I will never forget the day I took her to the park and it hurt her to grasp the railing to walk up the stairs, and she could barely go up the stairs...so we will pray for good news from the dentist tomorrow! I am looking forward to spending the holidays with family although Alex, Derek and David will be enjoying Six Flags for Christmas! They are soo excited to go!
