We are on a great path of healing!

Bri had her eye Dr appt at the end of January and her Rheum as well! More blood work too...oh I dread the bloodwork! But she made it through that! So her eye appt was great! Her eyes look great, little to no inflammation in both and now her drops have been dropped down to 3 times a day-and believe it or not Bri does not like the eye drops now at all! Every day it is a struggle to just do the 3 drops-when we were giving her the drops every hour of the day she had no problem! I think she's just tired of shots, medicine, blood work, eye drops! It's alot for a 2 1/2 year old to have been going through for a year! I had to get my blood work done, so Bri and I went in together-I felt like screaming like she did haha! The lady this time couldn't find my vein so she wiggled the lovely needle...and I have a huge bruise! She actually had another lady come in to draw Bri's blood...thank God :)!

We will do 3 eye drops for 3 weeks, then down to 2 for 3 weeks and then in for another appointment. And after that appointment with her eye Dr back to the Rheumatologist and if all is well with weaning her off the steroid eye drops he'll start weaning her off the methotrexate by lowering the dosage for weeks at a time! YAYYYYY this is the best news!!!!!! So he said that after weaning off methotrexate if she doesn't have a flare up that she could be in remission in about a year! Sounds like a long time, but I am thrilled to hear this!

Her knees do have some deformation due to the steroid injections from a year ago, but that's ok-with time they will be back to normal!

She is for sure a 2 1/2 year old now-just tonight she took her Ritz cracker with crem cheese and stuck it to our stainless steel fridge and started laughing! She is completely potty trained...all on her own! I bought her big girl pants and she wanted nothing to do with pull-ups! She would actually run and do it all on her own! I'm so proud of her! She has had a few accidents haha-but even at the park playing or in the car-she's been great! People ask me (because I have 3 other kids) "how do you potty train? What did you do?" and to be honest all of my kids trained on their own and once in big pants...hated the pull-ups! Sorry...I lucked out on that! We took her to the skate park with my other kids and she wanted to do "on her 3 wheel scooter" everything her brothers were doing! It was hilarious...so I would hold the scooter as she flew down the ramps! She kept saying "more mommy" so I held her again as we went bumpin down the stairs-she loved it! I was laughing! She was afraid to sit on the quad with Daddy but she wanted to fly down the stairs and ramps on her scooter haha! Too funny! Couldn't video tape this event-oh well. She also took an orange marker (crayola-non toxic thank God) and decided to color her teeth and tongue orange and then spit it out on our nice beige carpet! So I ran out of my Melaleuca Sol-U-Mel (which can get a permanent marker out of anything-and awesome for those baseball grass stains) so I just steam cleaned it many many times with our carpet cleaner! Incredible that it is washable, but yet wouldn't come out of the carpet?! She also tried to eat chalk...just too funny! I thought at 2 1/2 they would grow out of putting things in their mouth?! No stickers on furniture though-whewwww!
