YAYYY! Eyes look better-no new meds for now:))))

So Bri has had many eye Dr appointments and today's was great! Today's appointment was a deciding moment if she would need more meds! I was a nervous wreck! Can't help it :) she's my baby!! She sat very still for her eye exam...because Daddy was there! I can totally read her eye Dr. If he sits back after the eye exam and says "let me write this in my notes" I know her eyes are worse and if her eyes look better he always says "her eyes look great" then he types his notes. I'm totally getting this down haha! So yay, he said her eyes look great. Her left eye has always been the worst as far as inflammation, and now her left eye looks great, still a little inflammation and a few cells but not bad, and her right eye is inflammed but not bad. So he said to continue with eye drops just every 2 hours to 3 now instead of every 1-2 hours. He also said that since we upped her Methotrexate to .5 and it has been since April 22, that this med could take 8-10 weeks to possibly "fully" kick into her system. So he wants to wait another 3-4 weeks to see her to determine...AGAIN...how she is doing. It's so crazy with JIA that every day, every week, every month is just a waiting game. You wait to see if there's more inflammation, wait for the medication to kick in fully, wait wait wait.

So since there isn't alot of new news I am going to add a little "oommph" to my blog! I have found some amazing blogs I would like to share, and some great beauty tips, clothing tips, etc. So throughout my updates with Bri I would love to share some of the tips I have learned! I hope you will follow:) And yayyyy for Bri-her sisters and brothers and family members prayers have helped and thank you to all of you amazing families I have found through arthritis.org, facebook and personally!! I would really like to thank someone moms who I have actually never met but whose daughter and self are inspirational and helpful-Lesli and Erika!!! Thanks for your tips, and personal messages of inspiration! I appreciate it sooo much!
